What are we?

We are a new coalition against poverty being formed across Canada to be a voice for our brothers & sisters who are struggling to live in our country.

Who are our members?

Our membership include brothers & sister who are or were formerly living on pensions or social assistance.

Brothers & sisters who are or were formerly homeless.

Brothers & sisters who are low income workers.

And organizations who support our efforts to address the poverty and homeless issues in our country.

Vision statement:

We believe that Canada should be free of poverty & homelessness.

We believe that all levels of governments can do better to take care of our most vulnerable citizens.

We believe that Canada has enough resources & money to eradicate homelessness & poverty in our country.

We believe that every citizen in our country has the right to freedom of speech and that our governments shouldn;t try to prevent us from challenging the status quo if we do so in a peaceful manner.

We believe every citizen especially our most vulnerable have the right to access to proper medical care, medication and education and we also believe that our governments should respect these rights.

We believe every citizen in our country has the right to safe & affordable housing & we also believe that our governments should respect those rights.
